WACO, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation announced that it will close the southbound I-35 entrance and exit ramps between N Loop 340 and US 84/Waco Drive starting Wednesday.
The closures are taking place to allow drainage work and will start at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The closure should end by 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
Southbound drivers wishing to exit US 84/Waco Drive will need to exit at N Loop 340 (Exit 339). Signage will be available to inform and direct drivers and construction is subject to change along with weather and field conditions.
The construction is apart of the I-35 Waco project to improve safety and mobility along I-35 in the area. Drivers can follow construction progress @TxDOTWacoPIO on Twitter.
