Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will continue to help the Indian air force maintain Super Hercules tactical airlifters under a five-year, $328.8 million direct commercial sale contract.

The follow-on agreement includes program management, engineering and logistics support, contractor furnished equipment, software and publication services necessary to address C-130J fleet sustainment requirements in India, Lockheed said Tuesday.

Eight representatives from Lockheed, General Electric (NYSE: GE) and Rolls-Royce will conduct on-site technical efforts throughout the contract period.

GE and Rolls-Royce manufacture the C-130J propeller and engine systems, respectively.

Lockheed added that the Indian air force will receive 12-year depot maintenance support for five Hercules units starting 2022 at a company-approved center as part of the agreement.

India initially signed a foreign military sales deal to procure six C-130Js from the U.S. government in 2008.
