Monday: Partly cloudy, hot and humid. It won’t be as windy as what it was over the weekend. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s to near 90°. There is a slight chance for a pop-up shower or storm in the afternoon, especially in southeastern Iowa. The wind will be south 5-15 mph.
Monday Night: Another warm night expected with overnight lows in the upper 60s with dry conditions.
Tuesday: There is a slightly better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. These won’t last long, and again, most areas will stay dry. High temperatures once again will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
Rest of the Week: More of the same…partly cloudy, hot and humid. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s with off and on chances of rain and storms. The best chance looks to be Friday.
It does not look as humid next weekend.
