Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!
The new season is officially here as existing contracts roll over and new ones get signed. Hopefully we see a bit more action than at the draft, but there were plenty of buyouts and players not-qualified yesterday so the free agent class got bigger than we expected.
You can watch on TSN starting at 11AM, or on Sportsnet from 11:30 to 2:30, until the Blue Jays game starts, and down south coverage on the NHL Network begins at noon and runs until 5PM, when the free agency recap show begins.
Or hang out here with us, and follow along in the chat where people will post tweets from reporters, insiders, and fake accounts they didn't double check.
So, here's some quick links for you to check out while we wait for the big Leafs deal that won't happen.
Brian did some pre-dev camp scouting for you.

Matt Duchene got bought out by the Nashville Predators and boy is that going to cost them.
Barry Trotz has clearly placed an emphasis on one thing as #preds GM: Culture.
Matt Duchene had 3 years remaining at $8 million AAV.
His buyout calculation, per @CapFriendly, is not pretty. For two of those seasons, there is a $5.5 and $6.5 million cap charge.
