KENT COUNTY, MI -- A stolen pickup was found burning alongside U.S. 131 in southern Kent County and police took the driver into custody.
State police said they responded to a vehicle fire about 9:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26 on southbound U.S. 131 near 100th Street.
Troopers determined the pickup had been stolen out of Ionia County.
Police also said they believe the driver intentionally set a fire inside of the pickup. That person was taken to a hospital for evaluation of minor injuries, then taken to the Kent County Jail.
