I recently received a letter from my auto insurance company.
It stated, “We understand the COVID-19 pandemic has created an unprecedented time of economic and personal upheaval. As a result, (named insurance company) has chosen to provide a relief payment to our policy holders. The amount of the check you are receiving represents a portion of your policy premium based on our best estimate of the overall impact of this pandemic on our customers’ driving and on (named insurance company’s) business.”
It would be so greatly appreciated if Recreation Centers of Sun City officials would take a similar stand in the matter of our yearly recreation fees. Perhaps extending our yearly payment due date to coincide with the number of weeks our facilities have been closed.
So many of us have enjoyed the facilities on a daily bases and have been forced to miss out on what we have already paid for in the way of our yearly recreation fee.
