A man was killed early Sunday morning after a woman driving north along Interstate 205 left the roadway and struck his tent, the Portland Police Bureau said.
The crash occurred at the Southeast Powell Boulevard exit around 3:20 a.m. The driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, police said. Police did not provide the name or age of either the man who died or the driver.
Portland police are investigating and ask that anyone with information contact crimetips@portlandoregon.gov or call 503-823-2103, referencing case number 21-339498.
