Man found dead along Collins Road; traffic homicide called - WJXT News4JAX

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police called about someone possibly injured on the side of Collins Road at 2:20 a.m. Sunday found a man dead.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it looks like he may have been struck by a car on Collins near Pondue Lane, west of Roosevelt Boulevard. At this point, they have not found any witnesses to the incident.

Traffic homicide detectives are investigating.
