It might be little more than a hit-and-giggle, but Tiger and Charlie Woods have captivated the sports world in Orlando. The father-son tandem has been golf’s biggest story at one of the sport’s least-heralded events: this weekend’s PNC Championship.

For years, the parent-child event meant little to those outside the few dozen invited to participate. But when Woods announced he would be entering this year’s iteration alongside his 11-year-old son Charlie, the tournament quickly became the focus of the golf world.

In the tournament’s opening round Saturday, the two Woods’ proved up to the task. Charlie striped his drives and hilariously talked trash with Justin Thomas, while Tiger spent much of the afternoon beaming with paternal joy.

On Sunday, Team Woods enters the PNC’s final round some five strokes back of the leader, Team Thomas. Charlie and Tiger (fittingly in matching Sunday Red attire) teed off shortly before 9:30 a.m. ET, and will complete their round before the event is broadcast on tape-delay to national television audiences across Golf Channel and NBC this afternoon.

You can follow along with all the action from the final round below.

Team Woods finishes the weekend on a high

With a birdie on the 18th hole, Tiger and Charlie Woods finished the week at 20 under after carding back-to-back 62s. It wasn’t enough to vault them over the likes of Justin Thomas on the leaderboard, but it hardly mattered to father and son, who shared a hug on the 18th green.

“I’m so proud of what he’s done,” and emotional Tiger told Golf Channel after the round. “It was our little world, exactly like we planned it.”

Team Thomas surges into the clubhouse

Justin and Mike Thomas are the leaders in the clubhouse at the PNC Championship after carding a mind-bending 15-under 57 during Sunday’s second round. Thomas and Thomas recorded 15 birdies and no bogeys on Sunday, surging to 25 under overall and a two-stroke clubhouse lead.

Through 16 holes, Team Woods sits seven strokes back at 19 under.

Fist-pumping fun

Stop me if you’ve seen this one before: a low-uppercut after a Woods birdie. Charlie walked his birdie on the par-4 10th in and gave a fist-pump that’d make Dad proud.

Team Woods is 15 under through 13 holes following a birdie on the par-4 13th. As for the remainder of the field, Team Thomas is a blistering 14 under through 16 holes, carrying a two-stroke lead over Team Trevino into the closing stretch.

Team Woods at the turn

Team Woods has made it to the turn at 14 under after a birdie on the par-4 10th. Tiger and Charlie are earning extra points for charisma on Sunday, but they’ll need a miracle to catch Team Thomas. The Thomases lead Team O’Meara by a single stroke at 21 under par through 13.

The birdies keep coming

We figured the winner in Orlando would post a low score, and Sunday at the PNC Championship is proving no different. The average winning score at the PNC has hovered around 25 under, a number team Thomas seems poised to reach.

The Thomases hold a two-stroke lead at 19 under after finishing the front nine with eight birdies. Meanwhile, Team Woods remains in the distance at 14 under. Tiger and Charlie have strung together an eagle and a pair of birdies through their first seven holes.

Team Woods is off and running

After an eagle on the 5th on Sunday, Team Woods (clad in Tiger’s famed Sunday Red) is three under for the day and 13 under for the tournament. That’s good enough to leave them three strokes back of Team Thomas and in a tie for 7th.

Meanwhile, social media is buzzing over a side-by-side video of the two Woods’ astonishingly similar swings.
