Enjoy the mild conditions while they are still around, because winter-like conditions are just around the corner.
The National Weather Service in Boulder expects temperatures for Friday to reach record highs. Enjoy mostly sunny skies in the Denver metro area with a high of 74 degrees. Winds will be calm in the 5-to-7 mph range. Breezy conditions can be found in higher elevations.
By Friday night, cloud coverage increases, and the low may drop down to 47 degrees. Saturday may be the last chance for a full day of sunshine. Wind speeds may also pick up with gust going as fast as 25 mph. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny with a high near 72 degrees, according to NWS.
Weather patterns will change by Saturday night with a 40% chance of rain and even faster wind speeds. Expect a low of 45 degrees.

After tying/breaking high temp records, we'll cool below normal starting Sunday as the weather pattern get more active. Precip expected Saturday into Sunday morning, again Monday, then again Wednesday. Past this, there's no big signal for above or below average precip. #cowx pic.twitter.com/Bfgqb9HjyY
