The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are closed at Silverthorne because of a wildfire burning just south of the interstate.
The fire is burning between the Eisenhower Tunnel and Silverthorne, according to the Colorado State Patrol. An alternate route is on U.S. 6 over Loveland Pass.
