The Sandhills Area Chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship, an international Bible-centered organization that has been existence for 80 years, will offer four 5-Day Clubs in Dunn during the week of June 28 through July 2.
Each day, club meetings will include Bible lessons, activities, a missionary story, songs and scripture memorization. The clubs are open to boys and girls regardless of religious background. Parents are welcome to attend with their child.
There is no charge for children to attend. An optional missionary offering will be taken each day.
Local Christian Youth in Action teams will present the following topics:
- “Who is Jesus?,” from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Brookside Academy, 804 W. Broad St., Dunn. “Detectives” ages 8-12 will crack secret codes, hunt for clues and investigate cases.
- “Arts and Craft Club 2021,” 1:30 to 3 p.m., Beacon Rescue Mission, 207 W. Broad St., Dunn, for ages 5-12. Come ready to cut, paste, color and get a little crazy.
- Soccer Camp, 9 to 11:30 a.m., Tart Park, 1269 S. Elm Ave., Dunn. For ages 6-12. No experience is necessary. In case of inclement weather, the club will resume the following day.
- Tennis 5-Day Club, 9 to 11:30 a.m., Tyler Park, 803 W. Harnett St., Dunn. For ages 8-12. No experience necessary. In case of inclement weather, the club will resume the next day.
