MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Follow along as the Mountaineers (1-1, 0-1) host Baylor (1-0, 1-0) in front of a families-only crowd at Milan Puskar Stadium.

4:08 p.m. – Leddie Brown 3-yard TD in double overtime wins it for West Virginia, 27-21 the final.

4:01 p.m. – Tykee Smith INT in end zone on Baylor’s first play of double overtime.

3:57 p.m. – Charlie Brewer 25-yard TD pass to Ben Sims – End 1st OT: Baylor 21, WVU 21

3:55 p.m. – Bryce Ford-Wheaton 6-yard TD reception from Doege – WVU 21, Baylor 14 (Baylor gets ball next)

3:45 p.m. – End regulation: Baylor 14, WVU 14.

3:37 p.m. – After an unnecessary roughness penalty on Tony Fields II gives Baylor a free first down, Baylor capitalizes. Charlie Brewer tosses a 34-yard TD pass to Josh Fleeks with 1:19 left in regulation. Baylor 14, WVU 14.

3:24 p.m. – WVU defense stones Baylor on 4th-and-goal at the 1 with 4:10 left. Baylor was set up after a special teams gaffe on a muffed punt.

2:51 p.m. – Dreshun Miller with his first huge play as a Mountaineer. Interception puts the brakes on a promising Baylor drive.

2:45 p.m. – End third quarter score: WVU 14, Baylor 7.

2:40 p.m. – Points! Leddie Brown takes it across from the 1 to cap an 11-play, 72-yard drive. WVU 14, Baylor 7 (1:37 left in third quarter).

2:27 p.m. – WVU starting safety Sean Mahone (head injury) ruled out. Jake Long now in.

1:04 p.m. – Gerry Bohanon replaces Charlie Brewer at quarterback for the Bears. Brewer returns after a TO.

12:59 p.m. – Third turnover of the game for WVU (second interception). J.T. Woods returns it 29 yards to the WVU 30.

12:54 p.m. – Second missed field goal for Baylor. Bears collected their second turnover of the game on a diving interception from Terrel Bernard.

12:43 p.m. – End first quarter score: WVU 7, Baylor 0

12:36 p.m. – Impressive defensive stand for WVU. After Doege fumbled at the 19, Baylor went backyards 10 yards in 4 plays and missed a field goal.

12:29 p.m. – Fairmont Senior grad Dante Stills, who wasn’t slated to start, did. On the second play, he records a 5-yard tackle for loss.

12:21 p.m. – Clinical opening drive for West Virginia. 15 plays, 70 yards in 6:09 capped by Jarret Doege 1 yard TD run. Converted a 4th & 6 with a reception to Sam James. Doege was 7-of-9 for 51 yards on the drive. – WVU 7, Baylor 0.

11:50 p.m. – Fairmont Senior grad Darius Stills is a co-captain and Morgantown grad Kyle Poland carries the state colors.

10:54 a.m. – Lineup notes: With James Gmiter out, true freshman and Fairmont Senior grad Zach Frazier makes his second start (left guard). Brandon Yates (LT), Chase Behrndt (C), Mike Brown (RG) and John Hughes (RT) make up the rest of the starting five.

Akheem Mesidor starts at defensive tackle. With VanDarius Cowan out, Bridgeport grad Dylan Tonkery starts. Mike O’Laughlin starts at tight end and T.J. Simmons starts in the slot.

8:47 a.m. — The Mountaineers will be without a starter due to a positive COVID test. Starting left guard James Gmiter announced he will not play against Baylor. Gmiter has started a dozen games for the Mountaineers, including both contests this year.

2019 rewind:

Last year, Darius and Dante Stills dominated up front in Waco, yet the Mountaineers fell 17-14 on Halloween.
