This is a little bit of a cheat -- both @alexiszaccarielloart and @alcbadartteacher are run by Alexis Zaccariello, an instructor at the Rochester Alternative Learning Center.
We recommend following both. The first account features photos and videos of Zaccariello’s gorgeous pottery and creative process, while the second is a look into her students’ work (featured all over Rochester). Both accounts are full of eye-catching pieces -- and if you pay attention, you can learn from each.
Niki Havekost bills herself as a “maker of weird things.” Her work explores the body through stitchery and sculpture.
Encaustic artist Beth Sievers works mainly with colored beeswax on wood. Her art is currently on display at the Rochester Makers Market.
